Dr. Ross Commissioned as New Hot Springs President

In a moving and reverent ceremony Dr. Doug Ross was officially commissioned as the new president at Hot Springs. The ceremony included comments from Sr. Teresa, Chad Aduddell, CEO and Deb Roybal, Vice President of Mission Integration, and concluded a beautiful candle lighting and reception.

The leader commissioning ceremony provides a time of quiet reflection on the magnitude of our work. This is especially important as a faith-based entity serving others in the example given to us by Jesus.

The word commission means “to formally entrust an individual or group with a special body of work.” Our leaders have been called to our ministry and seek to serve the common good and promote human flourishing. The commissioning process allows us to pause and to affirm or renew the commitment to serving a higher purpose.
