Hot Springs Urologist Receives National Recognition
As our vision states, we strive for, “a healthier future for all – inspired by faith, driven by innovation and powered by our humanity.”
As part of a realization of that vision, Hot Springs urologist Dr. Seth Hollenbach is the first physician in Arkansas and one of 30 nationally recognized with a Center of Excellence Award from Medtronic for overactive bladder care. The honor recognizes physicians who display excellent use of the InterStim System and a commitment to quality care for patients.
An InterStim is a device that is surgically implanted that electrically stimulates the sacral nerve, which is thought to normalize neural communication between the bladder and brain and between the bowel and brain.
“This recognition exemplifies Dr. Hollenbach’s high level of expertise and dedicated approach to caring for our patients,” said CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs President Dr. Doug Ross. “We look forward to continuing to provide quality, compassionate care to our patients in our commitment to being the foremost urology practice in Southwest Arkansas.”
“It is really exciting to have the first designated center of excellence for overactive bladder care in Arkansas. This is a great opportunity to be able to offer these advanced therapies to our community,” said Dr. Hollenbach. “This will allow a higher level of care and cutting edge technology to the community. We have offered these modalities for almost 10 years now but having the center of excellence designation will really allow us to reach more patients that previously may not have known about all of their options.”
