Jesus Sandoval Tovar’s “Professionalism and Dignity” Earns Him Service Hero Award

Congratulations Jesus Sandoval Tovar, PCT, for being celebrated as a Hot Springs Service Hero!

Jesus was nominated for the award by a patient’s family member.

The visitor said Jesus helped his 93-year-old father while showing true professionalism and dignity. He said Jesus also prevented their dad from feeling foolish or embarrassed when helping with hygiene and bathroom visits.

Jesus took the time to explain things and did it like he was a friend.

“Most of all, my dad developed a trust in your coworker over the 2 nights he was involved in Dad’s care.  I overheard Dad tell him that he ‘would jump off of a roof if you told me it was safe and the right thing to do!'”

The patient’s family member said that CHI St. Vincent should be very proud of this young man and the example he is to his fellow coworkers.
