National Patient Safety Week June 24-30

You may be thinking to yourself, “Wasn’t National Patient Safety Week in March?” Well, yes, but in order to give it the proper attention, we decided to recognize it in June during National Safety Month. We will celebrate National Patient Safety Week June 24-30. The National Patient Safety Foundation (NPSF) 2018 theme is “United for Patient Safety.” As we know, we all play a part in patient safety. By uniting together in that common goal, we can truly make a difference.

Below is a list of activities planned for the week to focus on patient safety:

Monday: Safety Coach Word Scramble- coworkers can complete the puzzle and turn it in for a chance to win a prize.

Tuesday: An announcement will be made concerning a contest to be held in 1st quarter of FY ’19.

Wednesday: SafetyFirst Word Search- coworkers can complete the puzzle and turn it in for a chance to win a prize.

Thursday: Special Safety Coach recognition. They will be invited to morning Safety Huddle and presented with a token of appreciation.

Friday: “Survey Says”- coworkers can complete the puzzle and turn it in for a chance to win a prize.
