Patsy Harris Named Service Hero After Two Nominations

Congratulations Patsy Harris, ED registrar, for being chosen as a Morrilton Service Hero!

Patsy was nominated by both a visitor and coworker for this award.

A patient’s son had nothing but wonderful things to say about the staff at CHI St. Vincent Morrilton when his mom was brought in with the flu and bronchitis.

He said coworkers helped him get his mom out of the truck and took excellent care of her.

“I cannot express my gratitude towards the staff. Very professional and kind. And they worked with me being very emotional. I have never seen my mom so sick.”

The second nomination was from a coworker who said Patsy has done multiple things for patients in the Emergency Department including buying snacks and drinks for children and adults.

There was also a time that Patsy found a bottle of pain medicine in a desk drawer that belonged to a patient from quite some time ago. Rather than leaving it for someone else to deal with, she took it to a leader to ensure the medication was dealt with properly.

“Patsy is a team player and is thinking of the good hospital and our coworkers.”
