Feed Thy Neighbor Food Pantry to Open in Morrilton

Our successful Feed Thy Neighbor employee food pantry is expanding to Morrilton. The new pantry will offer free grocery food – including fresh fruits and vegetables donated by Arkansas Foodbank – to make sure all team members have enough food at home for themselves and their families. The new food pantry will open on Thursday, July 30.

The new Morrilton food pantry comes after the success of the Infirmary and Hot Springs locations, which have given out more than 30,000 meals and tens of thousands pounds of fresh produce since they opened. On average, the Infirmary food pantry gives away 300 frozen meals and 600 pounds of produce every week. The ministry, called “Feed Thy Neighbor,” is designed to serve St. Vincent coworkers who may have difficulty with higher food costs and access to healthy food choices for their families.

The Morrilton location will be open every Thursday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. The food pantry will also provide cooking demonstrations and other activities that will be announced later.
