Hot Springs RN Honored for Exceptional Care of Cancer Patient

Congratulations to Gina Ubence, RN, of Hot Springs on receiving the DAISY Award! Gina was recognized for her care of a cancer patient that the family called “10 out of 10!” Here’s what they had to say about Gina:

“After my husband was transported by ambulance to CHI in Hot Springs, and then later, admitted to the hospital, we were both pretty emotionally and physically exhausted. Once we got to the actual room when he was admitted, we were met with the sweetest RN. From the very minute we got to my husband’s room, this nurse was on top of everything – as well as making sure that both of us were comfortable the whole time. She is professional, caring, punctual and kind! Absolutely, hands down, the best nurse I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Thank you for all that you do! You’re truly a blessing! My husband says she’s a 10 out of 10 to him! When he called her, she came in a timely manner. She explained everything that she was doing with the medications and all, and he said that she is the best nurse he has ever had!”
