Jason Evans Named Market President of Medical Group
CHI St. Vincent has named Jason Evans, MHSA, to the role of Market President for CHI St. Vincent Medical Group, effective July 1. For the past 17 years, Jason has served as Market Director of Clinic Operations for the CHI St. Vincent Heart Institute.
“I am excited to transition into this new role and honored that St. Vincent leadership has confidence in my abilities to move the Medical Group forward,” said Jason. “I look forward to continuing to serve our ministry as Market President for the St. Vincent Medical Group and building on the success our team has created.”

After starting at Heart Clinic Arkansas in 2009, Jason joined CHI St. Vincent in 2012 when the two organizations integrated to form the CHI St. Vincent Heart Institute. He was instrumental in leading the operational processes that brought Heart Clinic Arkansas into CHI St. Vincent.
Jason created a development program for the Heart Clinic Arkansas leadership team focused on frameworks and practical tools to facilitate growth as individuals and as a team, has guided the clinics through multiple Electronic Medical Record conversions and has integrated cardiology practices into the CHI St. Vincent Heart Institute to increase access for patients across Arkansas. He has worked with physicians for 25 years, primarily in operations roles, and leads with a relationship-focused style that unites teams around a shared vision.
Jason currently serves as the chairman of the board for EngageMed and sits on the RevRock Cycling Team and Big Dam Bridge Foundation Boards. He is a member of Little Rock Executives Association and actively volunteers with the American Heart Association.
“I’m excited to have Jason transition into this role,” said Dr. William G. Jones, CHI St. Vincent Market President. “He is a proven leader who takes a people-first approach, and strives for excellence in the mission, vision and values of St. Vincent.”
Jason earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Ark., and completed his Master of Health Services Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in Little Rock, Ark.
Mary Margaret Pratt will serve as interim Market Director of Clinic Operations for the CHI St. Vincent Heart Institute, in addition to her regular duties.
