Morrilton to Celebrate 10 Years with No Safety Events
On Oct. 14, 2016, a small boy was being seen at a Morrilton clinic for a standard check-up when he fell off the exam table and bumped his head. The child had to be transferred to Conway Regional, and after making sure the patient got the attention needed, a safety employee entered the incident into IRIS to document the event. That was the last safety event recorded at Morrilton.
On Wednesday, the hospital will celebrate 10 years without a safety event with free refreshments for staff and a large banner at the front of the building publicly announcing the remarkable achievement. Everybody in Morrilton should be proud of this milestone! Thank you all for making Morrilton such a safe and patient-focused facility.
