Infirmary FNS Team Member Recognized for Laundry Chute Dive

Congratulations to Adrian Prunty, Food and Nutrition Services, on receiving the Patient’s Choice Award! Adrian was recognized after he truly went out of his way to help a patient who had accidentally put herself into an uncomfortable situation! Here’s what happened:

“Adrian helped me comb through the laundry chute after my patient accidentally threw her phone down the chute with her laundry. After a while, we found the phone and were able to return it to the patient. This is an example of Adrian’s humankindness in action.”

We all know the feeling of accidentally dropping our phone, and it must be worse when you realize that you threw it away! Thank you, Adrian, for saving the day for one of our patients!
