Pets of St. Vincent – Biscuit
For the first time ever, our Pets of St. Vincent feature is expanding into the rodent family. Everybody meet Biscuit, an American Shorthair Guinea pig belonging to Janelle Ball, BSRT (R), at North!
As a Guinea pig, Biscuit is quite partial to snacks. Specifically, he loves to chow down on cucumbers, apples, and pea flakes, which are snacks made specifically for small rodents like Guinea pigs and rabbits. Janelle says Biscuit loves to run around their house and is always happy to be cuddled, enjoying a warm lap as much as a delicious treat. She says Biscuit brings joy to anyone that meets him, as he greets his visitors with cute squeaks and fuzzy kisses.
We love getting to feature a unique animal friend as our Pet of St. Vincent! Thanks to Janelle for sharing Biscuit with us! Don’t forget, if you have a pet you’d like to see in this space, you can nominate them to be a Pet of St. Vincent! Just click this link and fill out the form to tell us about them. Make sure to include up to five high-res photos that we can use to share with everyone!
