Kari Epperson Named Service Hero at North

Kari Epperson was recognized as a Service Hero at North for displaying the value of EXCELLENCE.

Kari was nominated for her efforts to advocate for patients and their families.

During National Brain Cancer Awareness Month in May, she designed and sold “Go-Grey” T-shirts. She engaged all areas of the hospital and sought support for staff to wear the shirts on designated days.

More than 180 shirts were sold, and all the proceeds from the sale of the shirt were donated to the Danny’s Gift Fund, which supports families of ICU patients during their most vulnerable time.

Danny’s family was touched by the generosity of the North team, and wearing the shirts also promoted unity among our teams at North.
