Patsy Wallace Has a Big Thank You Because You Answered the Call

Patsy Wallace, BSN RN CURN, Clinical Educator, CHI St. Vincent Infirmary received a CHI St. Vincent Co-Worker Scholarship.  Here’s how it helped her.

I personally have used those funds to be able to continue pursuing my Doctor of Nursing degree. Without these funds it would be unlikely and almost impossible for me to further my education. I normally don’t drop the “cancer” card, however, because of the financial strain of the surgeries and treatments this past year, I have applied for these scholarships and I won’t let cancer keep me from doing something I’ve always wanted to do. I normally don’t “ask” for money, but, I certainly put these funds to a good use. I LOVE CHI St. Vincent and plan on working here for a very long time!!!

And yes, I will be applying for the Spring Scholarships too! THANK YOU!!!!!!
