Sheila Carson’s Inspirational Work Makes Her a Service Hero

Congratulations Sheila Carson, PCT, for being celebrated as a Hot Springs Service Hero!

Sheila was nominated by a coworker for being the “epitome of CHI St. Vincent’s core values.”

Whether it’s a coworker or patient, Sheila is known to go above and beyond to meet the needs of each person.

Recently, a newer PCT floated to the Renal/Oncology floor for the first time. Sheila made a point to let the PCT know that she would be available to help with anything. A coworker said, “she makes everyone feel welcome when on our unit.”

Sheila is described as someone who never misses a beat and she is always taking the best care of patients and their needs.

“I have seen Sheila pray with and for our patients, as well as take the time to sit and talk a patient through some of their worst times by speaking to them about the power of prayer and Jesus.”

The coworker who nominated Sheila for this award said that Sheila’s compassion gives them hope for their patients and her integrity is truly inspiring.
