The Values in Action teams at the Infirmary and North joined forces to provide and serve a meal for the youth at Immerse Arkansas. Our teams purchased a home-cooked style meal and served more than 30 youth!

God gives us surprises all of the time and this was definitely a beautiful surprise. I did not know anything about the Immerse Organization and so glad I was introduced to them because serving the group dinner was truly more of a blessing to me than to them,” said Jean Garland, Quality Performance Improvement Coordinator, CHI St. Vincent.

Immerse Arkansas serves young adults in vulnerable situations as well as those aging out of the foster care system who are trying to transition into life as an adult on their own. They recently opened a shelter in Conway and they’re breaking ground in Little Rock with a 15-bed shelter called The Station. This is a perfect addition to their existing services like the youth center and transitional programs.

“Immerse is so grateful for CHI St. Vincent’s partnership and heartfelt support. Your team’s presence at our Gathering and the delicious meal they provided for our youth were truly appreciated,” said Jamie Middleton, Community Engagement Manager, Immerse Arkansas.
