Learning ways to be more mindful will be the focus of the Aug. 26 Well-being Wednesday.
Mindfulness is about slowing down and being present in the moment. Being mindful helps reduce stress and anxiety, so you can think more clearly. It can be as simple as closing your eyes and focusing only on your breathing or trying a yoga pose.

The Well-being Wednesday guided meditation is led by Rhonda Jo, BSN RN CCRN Nurse Coach, who has worked at CHI St. Vincent for 32 years. She has been studying mindfulness for about a year and understands the importance of these techniques, particularly during these challenging times.
“Particularly during COVID, people are seeking fresh, new ideas to boost their immune system, conquer stress and be kind to themselves. Every tool we give people toward this transformation, is invaluable to their well being and the well-being of future generations.”
