UPDATE: Check Your Balances of Vacation, Personal and Holiday Hours
CHI St. Vincent coworkers: The story below that appeared in the Must Know Monday email on Oct. 22 is only for coworkers on the national plan and does NOT apply to CHI St. Vincent coworkers. We apologize for any confusion.

We’re just a few weeks away from the end of the year, but it’s not too early to check your PTO balances, especially your personal days.
You can take three personal days off each year, using them when you’re sick or need to tend to personal matters or as vacation days. However, any personal days you have left on Dec. 31 will be forfeited – they won’t carry over to 2019.
Also, remember that the maximum amount of vacation time you can accumulate is 125% of your annual vacation days. This means you need to pay special attention to your vacation balance to ensure you don’t stop accruing vacation days. Take time to review your PTO today. Click here to learn more.
