Hot Springs RN Praised for Helping Family with Tough Decisions

Congratulations to Tyler Sena, RN, at Hot Springs on being recognized as a CHI St. Vincent Service Hero! Tyler was nominated by the family of a patient who said he was able to help them when they were debating several tough decisions about their loved one’s care. Here’s what they had to say about him:

“My mother-in-law was in the ICU for several days. Tyler ended up being her nurse a couple of times during her stay. You can tell when someone has a caring heart and is genuine. First, he took great care of our loved one and also good care of us family members. We were faced with a lot of tough decisions. Tyler answered every question we had and explained it in detail so that it could be understood. Very professional and knowledgeable. We felt we could trust what he told us. He made a difficult situation a little easier! I say “Hats Off” to you Tyler for being such an outstanding young man, and a great nurse everyone should be proud of. In these times in healthcare, we need a whole lot more Tylers/nurses to try and get our healthcare back to where it should be. That’s back to taking care of the patients (that’s what it should be about, not the top dollar!) God Bless you, Tyler!”

Thank you, Tyler, for giving your patients the care that makes their lives better. You’re a wonderful example of the kind of professional we all strive to be!
