Knitting Group Donates Caps to New Outlook Cancer Recovery Program

The Knitting Group at the Maumelle Senior Citizen Center brought our New Outlook Cancer Recovery Program 86 hand-made caps for cancer patients. In total, the group has donated a total of 426 caps to the program.

This group of spirited women meets and knits at the Maumelle Senior Citizen Center every week. They vary in size but have 8-10 ladies that faithfully knit all of the caps that they donate twice a year. The New Outlook Cancer Recovery Program also mails some the caps to oncology offices all over the state for their cancer patients.
