Look Forward To Extra Sleep and Turn Your Clock Back Nov. 5

Starting Sunday, Nov. 5, your morning will be brighter and sunset will come earlier. Remember to turn your clocks at home back one hour as of 2 a.m. on Nov. 5, when most of the U.S. changes from Daylight Savings Time to Standard Time.

Meanwhile:

  • The Standard Time and Attendance (Kronos) database will automatically update the time.
  • Time clocks and TTE systems will also update automatically at 2 a.m. on Nov. 5.
  • Shifts that span the time change will automatically be increased by one hour, including scheduled on-call shifts that span the 2 a.m. time change.
  • For exempt employees: If the 8-1600 default schedule has been changed and that new schedule spans the 2 a.m. time change, timecards may need to be adjusted so that the hours do not exceed the full-time equivalent.
