North Helps Feed Arkansans with Potluck Food Rescue for Arkansas
CHI St. Vincent North has recently teamed up with Potluck Food Rescue for Arkansas to reduce hunger and food waste in Central Arkansas.
North has been working with Potluck Food Rescue since March and has donated 1,195lbs of prepared food so far! This food is leftover from the cafeteria.
“These foods are given directly to our community partners supplying Arkansans with healthy food that would otherwise go hungry. Potluck Food Rescue is forever grateful for the community partners like CHI St. Vincent North that believe good food shouldn’t be wasted and are happy to give back to their community,” said Grant Williams, Executive Director, Potluck Food Rescue.
The mission doesn’t stop there. Megan Bonney, CHI St. Vincent North President, has also officially joined their Board of Directors.
“Connecting leaders with community organizations who are fighting hunger daily is an honor. Megan brings a lot of experience, dedication, and passion to this fight. I have no doubt that she’ll help Potluck Food Rescue save more food and get it to those who are most in need,” said Mandy Davis, CHI St. Vincent Community Outreach Coordinator.
CHI St. Vincent is proud to join in the fight against hunger in Arkansas!
