Nurses Tell Our Magnet Story

Booth shotSixteen nurses from CHI St. Vincent ventured to Atlanta for the annual ANCC Magnet Conference. They joined with more than 9,000 nurse colleagues who are presenting, learning and representing the highest in nursing professionalism worldwide.

CHI St. Vincent Infirmary received the highly prized American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Magnet designation in February, 2013.

Chief Nursing Officer Brenda Baird, MSN RN CENP, and Deborah Krueger, MSN RN NE-BC CHTP, were selected for a podium presentation spotlighting our Nursing Clinical Advancement Program.

Holly Taylor, BSN RN CNOR, had a piece of art accepted to the Magnet Art Gallery.  Holly’s artwork includes a responsive reading that was shared in Chapel services during Nurses Week and based on the CHI St. Vincent Professional Practice Model.  The reading is framed in an old window frame.
