Taylor McNulty Receives Shining Star Award
Taylor McNulty has been named a winner of the December Shining S.T.A.R. award.
The award is presented to a non-licensed nursing care team member who goes above and beyond the call of duty and is the kind of person that our patients, their families and our staff recognize as an outstanding role model.
McNulty is a Patient Care Tech on 4E at the Infirmary. She was nominated by multiple patients. See a few snips from her nominations below:
-“Taylor was very patient, kind and caring. She met all my needs and made me feel special and secure after my back surgery. She went above and beyond and for that my family and I are very grateful.”
-“Every time she walks into the room, I see an angel of mercy.”
-“Since coming out of my spinal surgery, one of the first caregivers was Taylor McNulty. It’s a very unique situation to have a caregiver follow through the process of surgery to discharge. After having several complications after surgery, I have been in and out of the hospital. It was nice to see Taylor as one of my caregivers again. She is always there and willing to help with whatever is needed—and I needed a lot of extra care for my situation. From basic bodily needs to explaining and helping talk me through various situations, she had a soothing and calming attitude. Taylor has all the qualities of a great nurse. She is nurturing, caring and a great asset to CHI St. Vincent. I want to thank everyone that had a hand in my care but Taylor stood out to me and was exceptional.”
S.T.A.R. stands for Superior Teamwork Achieved by Relationships. The award is presented quarterly. For more information, contact the Human Resources Training Coordinator at 501-552-3672.
