During Nurses Week, nurses and coworkers were treated to a little furry, four-legged care of their own.
Therapy dogs visited the Infirmary and North bringing lots of love and smiles with them. Therapy dogs were brought in last year for Nurses Week and it was so well received that they decided to bring them in again.
5 therapy dogs visited the Infirmary and one visited North. Escorts were instructed to take the four-legged caregivers to visit coworkers and visitors. Although arranging the visits is a very lengthy process, the smiles and goodwill achieved makes it well worth it. The dogs offer unconditional love and support, no wonder they are such a strong therapy tool.
