Violence Prevention Specialist Stays Active in the Community on Topics Pertinent to Healthcare

Susie Reece, Violence Prevention Specialist for CHI St. Vincent, attended a community town hall discussion at the Garland County Library in Hot Springs and discussed gaps in local community healthcare services. Friday’s discussion was the second Community Health Symposium event, “Building the Community through Sustained Health Care.”

Working to increase public awareness around suicide and violence prevention topics has been key to the Violence Prevention Program’s success within the community. Reece continues to work with other organizations and key leaders throughout the state to provide training to first responders, police officers and other public office professionals.
