2020 Heritage Week Activities Celebrate Our Values
Celebrate the 132nd anniversary of CHI St. Vincent during the annual Heritage Week, Sept. 21-26.
This year, we’ll celebrate our five new values throughout the week.
Each day, we’ll celebrate with an activity at our hospitals and clinics that aligns with one of our values. The new values are: compassion, inclusion, integrity, excellence and collaboration.
Infirmary
Monday, Sept. 21
COMPASSION: Cookout, 11am-1pm and 6-8pm, Physician Entrance Parking Lot
Tuesday, Sept. 22
INCLUSION: Chapel Service, 1pm
Join us for a chapel service where Heritage Week award recipients will be recognized. Coworkers can also view the service on our Facebook page.
Wednesday, Sept. 23
COLLABORATION: Compassion Closet Collection
Donate items to the Infirmary’s Compassion Closet. These items are given to patients and families of patients in need. Drop your donations in the bins at the entrances to the Infirmary. Items will be collected from the bins throughout the day until Friday. Items needed include regular and travel-size toiletries, such as soap, shampoo, body wash, lotion, toothpaste, shaving cream, chapstick and wipes.
Thursday, Sept. 24
EXCELLENCE: Refreshment Cart, Thursday afternoon
Leaders will round throughout the hospital with treats.
Friday, Sept. 25
INTEGRITY: Coworkers will receive a special Heritage Week video via email.
Saturday, Sept. 26
COMPASSION: 6-8am, Main Entrance
Meal tickets will be handed out as coworkers arrive for their shift.
Hot Springs
Monday, Sept. 21
COMPASSION: Ice Cream Break, 1-3pm, Cafeteria Dining Room
INTEGRITY: Coworkers will receive a special Heritage Week video via email.
Wednesday, Sept. 23
COMPASSION: Coworker Meal, 11am-1pm and 6-8pm, Back Parking Lot
Managers will distribute tickets; be sure to bring your ticket to eat.
Thursday, Sept. 24
INCLUSION: Chapel Service, 10am, Front Lawn (between Cancer Center and Medical Office Building)
