Infirmary Patient Ambassador Named Service Hero
Congratulations to Calvin Monroe, patient ambassador at the Infirmary, on being named a CHI St. Vincent Service Hero! If you’ve ever walked in the main entrance at the Infirmary, you’ve almost certainly seen Calvin greeting and helping visitors. He was nominated for this award by one of those visitors: a family member of a long-term patient who was touched by Calvin’s positivity.
“My husband has been here (in the CVICU) for two months. Calvin always has a positive, attentive greeting every day. He has compassion for anyone who needs assistance and truly makes each person feel like someone really cares. He’s very genuine each and every day. Thank you, Calvin, for caring!”
Calvin’s example shows that everybody who works for CHI St. Vincent can have a positive impact on patients and their families. Even if you aren’t at the bedside, you are important to our mission of providing excellent, compassionate care. And if you know of a coworker who should be considered for a Service Hero honor, click this link and fill out the form to nominate them.
