North RN Honored With DAISY for Care Beyond the Hospital

Congratulations to Lindz Hobbs, RN, at North on receiving the DAISY Award, a national honor given to extraordinary nurses! Lindz was nominated after going above and beyond for a patient’s family member who needed help. Here’s what the nomination had to say:

“Lindz had a patient that was very sick and she not only spent her day going above and beyond for the patient but at the end of the shift, she took the patient’s granddaughter to get necessities and dinner. Lindz not only went above and beyond for the patient but she also went out of her way to make their situation better. Lindz has a very kind heart. This is not the first time I’ve seen her do this for someone.”
