Dr. Newbern, Jennifer Kelley Recognized With Spotlight Award

Dr. Gordon Newbern and Jennifer Kelley, supervisor of surgical services, were recently recognized with the Spotlight Award for their efforts to reduce costs in the Operating Room. Through their efforts to move from a high cost suture to a less expensive option, they have saved more than $48,000.

Dr. Newbern has also worked closely with our Supply Chain leaders and consultants to identify cost savings opportunities for several OR service lines.
