Michael, a Hot Springs Police officer, was working security in an “off-duty” capacity when he noticed someone needing assistance with helping a patient across the parking lot into the ED entrance. He sprang into action getting the attention of a paramedic and getting a wheelchair to assist the patient. After putting the patient in a triage room, the paramedics sought assistance.
Michael noticed the the patient’s condition worsen, so he pushed him to the ED and called for help. his quick thinking likely saved the patient’s life.
Thank you Michael for your attention and quick thinking and action!
