Father Harvey Recognized with Service Hero Award at Infirmary
Father Warren Harvey, chaplain at the Infirmary, was recognized as a Service Hero for displaying the value of COMPASSION.
During the special funeral service for those lost to miscarriage, Father Harvey asked if the cemetery worker was going to close the grave immediately.
The worker replied yes, but it would take some time as it had to be dug and filled by hand. The worker returned with a trailer load of dirt and two shovels.
After the people present shoveled dirt on the casket, Father Harvey removed his jacket and assisted the cemetery worker in completely filling the grave. It was a truly heart-warming moment.
